Color Inspiration Challenge #26

Yeah! Another color challenge from Kristina Werner. I haven't been able to play for awhile - busy, busy, busy. And I suppose I should have been doing something a little more worthwhile (like watching the presidential debate) but I couldn't help myself (plus the debate was driving me CRAZY - I tried, really, I did!).


I L-O-V-E these colors together, plus I got to play with my new Coluzzle set! Yippee! :) I didn't have any Wild Wasabi cs left, so I changed my green to Certainly Celery. I'm go glad I saved some of my retired Cutie Pie designer paper - it was the perfect fit for this card. I also found a very cool layout on Poetic Artistry's Mojo Monday.

I felt like these colors called for something fun and whimsical. I started by pulling out my markers and colored the "enjoy" stamp from the Enjoy Every Moment set. Once I had stamped it on Whisper White cs, I layered it onto a Rose Red panel. I also added a Rose Red felt flower with a silver brad as an accent.

I cut both circles using my Coluzzle, added a little paper piercing and layered the designer paper onto the Certainly Celery circle. I stamped a few flowers (from the same set) on the bottom half of the card. Next, I adhered the layered circles on the card and added some Bashful Blue striped grosgrain ribbon. Finally, I placed the sentiment over the ribbon, using Dimensionals.
