Snowflake Trade

This is my trade for tonight's downline meeting. Our theme is snowflakes, and I wanted to do something with the Felt Flurries from the Holiday Mini catalog. I'm also on a Coluzzle kick, since I just got mine! :) This is the result...

I've seen several ornaments on Splitcoast and I thought that would make a really fun card - something that the recipient could actually hang on the tree. I used my Coluzzle to cut the circle card, as well as the Ski Slope designer paper. (I cut each circle from the dp in half, so I could make two cards out of one circle.)

I randomly stamped the snowflake from the Scandinavian Season set in Whisper White ink and added the sentiment (from To You & Yours). Next, I added the designer paper and some striped grosgrain ribbon. I layered two felt flakes and secured them with a rhinestone brad (from the Pretties Kit). I layered the snowflakes onto the card using a Dimensional. I used the Round Tab punch to make the hanger at the top and added some silver elastic cord, which could be used to actually hang the ornament on a Christmas tree.

Same card different color combo!

Stamps: Scandinavian Season, To You & Yours
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze
Ink: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red (blue ornament), Chocolate Chip (red ornament)
Accessories: Coluzzle, Little Felt Flurries, Round Tab punch, Pretties Kit, silver elastic cord, striped grosgrain ribbon (Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red)
