Upsy Daisy Birthday

I've been working on birthday cards - you can never have too many, can you? These cards both use the set Upsy Daisy, but are very different in the tone and feel.

I case'd the layout for this first card from a fellow demonstrator, but changed a few things about the card, including color and focal image. First, I stamped the daisies with Baja Breeze ink on one side of the Whisper White panel and then stamped it again in Pacific Point ink towards the other side of the panel. Next, I stamped the sentiment, and layered it on to a black panel. I took a piece of Baja Breeze cs, folded down the right corner and tied the Pacific Point grosgrain ribbon around the panel, layering it onto a Pacific Point card. I placed the daisy panel over the ribbon using Dimensionals.

Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Paper: Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Basic Black
Accessories: Pacific Point striped grosgrain ribbon

This is a very simple card, but looks rather elegant. I stamped the daisies in Blush Blossom ink and used my Regal Rose marker to color the tips of the flowers. I stamped this onto a Whisper White panel and layered it on to Regal Rose and Close to Cocoa panels. I also tore the bottom edge of the Close to Cocoa panel. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom right-hand corner and tied a piece of Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon around the front.

Paper: Blush Blossom, Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White
