Gift Tags

Holy cow! Has it really been a week since I posted something on my poor, neglected blog?! I'm not quite sure what I've been doing with myself, but I guess life has taken over.

This is one of the projects we made at the last Ladies' Art Night at the Rhapsody Art Gallery. What a fun gift, huh? And relatively inexpensive (once you have the punches) since it uses a lot of scraps. The idea for this comes from fellow demo, Rachel.

To make the tag holder, I started with a 4 1/4"x 8 1/2" piece of Kiwi Kiss cardstock. I scored it at 2 1/4" from one end and used the Scallop Edge punch on the fold-over flap. I made the tags with the Deer Friends hostess set and used the elastic silver cording from the Holiday Mini. I placed the tags in a medium cello bag, slid the bag under the flap of the Kiwi Kiss cs and stapled all of the layers together. I added the phrase from Heard from the Heart (stamped in Chocolate Chip ink), another tag (love using red pom-poms for Rudolph's nose) and a little Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain ribbon.
Stamps: Deer Friends, Heard from the Heart
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: 1 1/4" circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch, round tab punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, scallop edge punch, 1/16" punch, silver elastic cording, Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain, mini red pom-poms
