Lighthouse Birthday

This lighthouse card makes a great masculine card that can be used for several different occasions. Just change the greeting!

I stamped the Sanded background in Mellow Moss ink on Mellow Moss cs and swiped my Very Vanilla craft ink pad along the sides, creating a distressed look. Next, I added a photo corner and brads and adhered the panel to a card made from Sahara Sand cs. Then I stamped the lighthouse image from A Light Unto My Path in Mellow Moss ink on Very Vanilla cs. I layered the Very Vanilla panel onto a Close to Cocoa panel and adhered it to the Mellow Moss panel on the card front. I added a piece of hemp twine and the sentiment, which was stamped on Sahara Sand cs in Close to Cocoa ink and punched with the Wide Oval punch.
Stamps: Sanded, A Light Unto My Path, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Sahara Sand, Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa, Very Vanilla
Ink: Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Photo Corner punch, Vintage brads, hemp twine, Wide Oval punch

Jen, I absolutely love this card! I'm always on the lookout for masculine designs and this fits the bill perfectly. It's so versatile; just change the colors and sentiment. I'm a green girl, so I like Mellow Moss the best. I've used this design three times already ... two birthdays and one sympathy. I also sell card sets to some of my church members, so this will be great for that as well.
