Window Treat Holder

This is a fun little treat holder that makes a nice gift for just about anyone! I was inspired by a Halloween treat holder from an issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.

Fill the cello bag with candy, potpourri, tea bags, jewelry or any other treat you can think of. I've made these for several different occasions, as you can see. :)

To make this treat holder, I started with a piece of cardstock measuring 3 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 3 1/2", 4 1/2" and 7 3/4". Stamp with desired background. Insert 1 3/4" circle punch from the end without the small flap, pushing paper all the way to the back of the punch before punching. Decorate 3/4" flap with designer paper and scallop edge, if desired. Fill bag with goodies and staple to back of holder. Place Sticky Strip on the inside of the small flap, fold so that it overlaps the front with the window and secure it just over the top of the window. Tie ribbon around the top and add tag.
Stamps: Scandinavian Season, Tasty Sweet, Tart n' Tangy, See You Around wheel
Paper: Baja Breeze, Real Red, Ski Slope dsp, Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Bashful Blue, Summer Picnic dsp, Whisper White
Ink: Baja Breeze, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: 1 3/4" circle punch, scallop edge punch, small cello bags, sticky strip, small tag punch, large tag punch, grosgrain ribbon (Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie), hemp twine
