Cheers to the Newlyweds

It's time for another Clean and Simple challenge on Splitcoast! This week's challenge is wedding cards, which is perfect because we have a couple of weddings coming up in the next couple of months. This is one of those cards that I dreamed up in my head long before I put ink to paper. I love it when those cards actually turn out like I envisioned - that doesn't happen very often! LOL!

I decided to go with lots of shimmer on this card. I started with some Shimmery White cardstock, which I used for my card base and for my main image. I embossed the champagne glasses (from the Cheers to You set) with gold embossing powder and added some Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds. I layered this onto a Brushed Gold circle and placed a square of Christmas Cocoa Specialty dsp onto the card base. I created a frame around the dsp with some piercing and added the sentiment (from Fundamental Phrases) and embossed it with more gold ep.

Here's a close-up shot of the glasses - I love that sparkle!

That's it for tonight - I hope you had a great weekend! I'll be back tomorrow with another card to share.

Stamps: Cheers to You, Fundamental Phrases
Paper: Shimmery White, Brushed Gold, Christmas Cocoa Specialty dsp
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Gold embossing powder, heat gun, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Mat Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, 1 3/4" circle punch, Coluzzle
