CAS35 - Pillow Talk

This is my card for this week's Clean and Simple (CAS) challenge on Splitcoast. The inspiration challenge is to choose a decorative pillow from Cost Plus World Market and design a card based on the colors, fabric, layout, etc. I chose the Moroccan Lumbar Toss Pillow for my inspiration for this card.

I really liked the colors, luxurious fabric and beautiful borders on these pillows.

This was a pretty quick card to put together. I combined Bermuda Bay, Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla, since I liked the color combo of the teal pillow so much. These colors have a warm, tranquil feel to them. I added some shading to the card base and my Thoroughly Modern dsp and I used my 1 3/8" circle punch to create the gigantoid scallop border. I topped it all off with some Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon with a button accent and a half pearl from the Pretties Kit. Love it! :) Stop by the CAS challenge forum and play along!
