Me Want Goodies!

Here's an adorable idea for a kid's treat bag. My friend and fellow demo Suzanne Askey traded these at our last downline meeting and I was lucky enough to receive one.

I added the candy popcorn - I know it's not cookies, which I'm sure Cookie Monster would prefer, but the colors were just perfect (plus, I didn't have any cookies!). Suzanne made this with the Scallop Circle die - she folded a 5 1/2" x 7 3/4" piece of cardstock in half and lined up the open edge of the cardstock with the bottom of the die. Next, she cut the fold at an angle and added the eyes and mouth. The cello bag is attached inside of the large scallop with glue dots. So stinkin' cute!

This is really cute and the popcorn really goes well. What do you mean when you say that she cut the fold at an angle? Is the only intact part of the fold hidden behind the eyes? Just curious. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the only part of the fold that is intact is behind the eyes - the other part of the fold is cut off when the scallop is trimmed at a diagonal. Hope that helps!
