Clean and Simple Button Buddies

I put together this super simple card using the Button Buddies set. What a fun set! I love that you can accent the images with buttons, but they are also cute just on their own.

I used the colors Pretty In Pink, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry for the flowers. Pretty, huh? Did you know that the flower fits perfectly in the 1 3/4" Scallop punch? This flower reminds me of all of the beautiful mums we'll be seeing soon. And thinking of mums makes me think of fall, which makes me think of school starting, which makes me want to do a little happy dance! Anyone else there with me?!? I am seriously counting down the days for the wee ones to get down to business, so I can get some serious stamping time in. :) I'd love to hear what you are doing these last few days of summer - leave me a comment and let me know. FTL 152: Happy Day to You

I guess I'm on a butterfly kick this week! Yesterday's card featured the butterfly in the Strength & Hope set, and today I'm using one of my favorite new sets, Kindness Matters. I put it all together using this week's Fall-to-Layout.

I colored the butterfly images with my Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Lucky Limeade markers and jazzed them up with some Basic Rhinestones. I don't know what it is about butterflies, but it's like they are just crying out for some sparkle. :) I hope you enjoyed today's little creation. See you soon!
