FTL 152: Happy Day to You

I guess I'm on a butterfly kick this week! Yesterday's card featured the butterfly in the Strength & Hope set, and today I'm using one of my favorite new sets, Kindness Matters. I put it all together using this week's Fall-to-Layout.

I colored the butterfly images with my Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Lucky Limeade markers and jazzed them up with some Basic Rhinestones. I don't know what it is about butterflies, but it's like they are just crying out for some sparkle. :) I hope you enjoyed today's little creation. See you soon!

Stamps: Kindness Matters, Friendly Phrases
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Pool Party
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso
Accessories: Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Decorative Label punch, Mat Pack, paper-piercing tool

Lovely!
The layout of 3 different butterflies is simple yet stunning.
I like the way you cut and layered the elegant tag punch behind the main layer.
You're right about butterflies needing a little bling. I made some simple butterfly, initial cards with my nieces (2 1/2 and 5 1/2 years old) and we added the same little bit of bling to the butterflies.
I like that your cards are simple and beautiful. They're inspiring because they're not overwhelming. Keep it up! :D
