FMS 23: Prayers for You

I had some time yesterday to put together a card using this week's Freshly Made Sketch.

I'll admit that I had a heck of a time coming up with a card I was happy with. My first two attempts did NOT turn out the way I had hoped, so I moved on to attempt #3. I was finally able to create something worth sharing!

I've been hoarding this gorgeous Mocha Morning specialty designer paper, not wanting to cut into the package because it is just too darn purty! I decided to take the plunge and I'm so glad I did. I pulled the colors for my card directly from the dsp. Here you can see a close-up of those pretty lil' butterflies:

Phew! I haven't had to work this hard at making a card in a long time. Glad that I still got it! ;) Have a super weekend!

Stamps: Summer Solstice, Blessings from Heaven
Paper: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Mocha Morning Specialty dsp
Ink: Soft Suede, Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press embossing folder, Basic Black taffeta ribbon, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, Basic Pearls,

I'm hoarding mine also!! Cutting into it was worth it for this card...that array of delicate butterflies is perfect for the sentiment.
