Sweet Little Baby

***Warning: cuteness overload ahead!*** Yesterday I attended a surprise baby shower for my son's teacher and I made this card for her. She's having a girl later this summer and I thought these little baby doll dresses were just too sweet!
I was inspired by a card from the May issue of Stampin' Success, a Stampin' Up! publication for demonstrators. Barbara Dykhouse created a card using the Owl Builder punch to make these itty bitty dresses. I fell in love and had to make some, too.
These were a little putzy, but totally worth it for the overall sweetness. Hope you have a wonderful day ahead - 'bye for now!

Stamps: Baby Bundle, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, retired designer paper (it was one of the Build-a-Bear prints)
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: 1 1/4" square punch, Scallop Square punch, Owl Builder punch, Jewelry Tag punch, Pretty in Pink satin ribbon, Vintage Trinkets, Basic Pearls, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder

Completely adorable! I love finding cards for baby and wedding showers that don't use a themed stamp set...since I don't need that many of those cards, I don't usually buy any of the sets.

WOW! This is just TOO adorable! Seriously! I am due with a little girl in September and I want to make myself one of these cards! That said, would you mind sharing how you made the ruffle at the bottom of your dresses? In the Stampin' Success they used are, now, retired pleated ribbon but it looks as though you used paper - how?!? I also hope I can find some of this paper - I LOVE the prints! Thanks so much for sharing!

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HOW THE PUNCH IS USED TO MAKE THE DRESSES. Such a cute card.

I agree with everyone else and YOU, Jen!!! This card definitely puts you into "CUTENESS OVERLOAD"!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

I too would like to know what you used to make the ruffles! Let me guess: the scallop edge punch embedded with holes in each scallop? And you pleated these?
