FMS #57 Rich Razzleberry Birthday Wishes

Check out this week's sketch from our guest designer, LeAnne! She calls it her "go to sketch" and I think you'll have fun with it.
I decided to pull out some of my Rich Razzleberry papers that I've been hoarding. I haven't used this color in a while and I wanted to put it to work.
I made that big, bold flower with coffee filters and my Fun Flowers Bigz die. So easy and so fun! I love the fluffy look the flower has. I used four layers of coffee filters to create my flower.

I hope you enjoy this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. Make sure to check out the other wonderful works by the rest of the design team and share your creation, too!

Stamps: Blooming with Kindness
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Basic Black, Polka Dot Parade dsp
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Fun Flowers Bigz die, coffee filters, Brights Designer Buttons, 1 1/4" scallop punch, Rich Razzleberry satin ribbon (retired)

Oh my goodness...what a fabulous idea to use COFFEE FILTERS for your flower! Amazingly beautiful...especially paired with that bold Razzleberry!

So pretty! I haven't tried coffee filters, just tissue paper. It looks great, so I just might have to use up some of those filters in my pantry. :)

Very pretty. I have seen a lot of projects with flowers made with dies and coffee filters laterly. I am going to give it a try.

So now I have TWO reasons to use coffee filters for my cards! One post I saw in blog land used them to catch embossing powders & now You show lovely flowers! :)

I love Rich Razzleberry as well, so I was immediately smitten with your card. Plus I thought the flower was especially lovely so I wanted to know how you made it. I had to laugh when I read it was made of coffee filters! Brilliant idea! They certainly make a great flower and I intend to try out that technique soon.

I love this card! One of my favs of yours. It also reminded me of an art project I've had my students do. I have them color a coffee filter with a water-based marker and then spray it with water. The colors run and as it dries it kind of looks tie-dyed. If you want flowers with a dyed paper look, give it a try. Or have the kiddos try it...they might have fun doing it on a cold winter day. :) Hope you guys are well!
