I decided to pull out some of my Rich Razzleberry papers that I've been hoarding. I haven't used this color in a while and I wanted to put it to work.
I made that big, bold flower with coffee filters and my
Fun Flowers Bigz die. So easy and so fun! I love the fluffy look the flower has. I used four layers of coffee filters to create my flower.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I haven't tried coffee filters, just tissue paper. It looks great, so I just might have to use up some of those filters in my pantry. :)

ReplyDeleteI love Rich Razzleberry as well, so I was immediately smitten with your card. Plus I thought the flower was especially lovely so I wanted to know how you made it. I had to laugh when I read it was made of coffee filters! Brilliant idea! They certainly make a great flower and I intend to try out that technique soon.

ReplyDeleteI love this card! One of my favs of yours. It also reminded me of an art project I've had my students do. I have them color a coffee filter with a water-based marker and then spray it with water. The colors run and as it dries it kind of looks tie-dyed. If you want flowers with a dyed paper look, give it a try. Or have the kiddos try it...they might have fun doing it on a cold winter day. :) Hope you guys are well!
