This was the last of the cards I put together for the mega stamp-a-stack. Fun colors, don't you think?

Here's a sneak peek at a little give-away coming tomorrow in celebration of my 500th blog post! Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Dreaming of the Beach...

Can you hear the seagulls crying and feel the sand between your toes? This card makes me think of a late afternoon at the beach, soaking up the last warm rays of the day. It could just be the fact that we woke up to SNOW this morning - what is up with that?!? I am in need of some warmer weather, and this card reminds me that there is a warm spot on a beach calling my name.

This is another one of the cards we made at the mega stamp-a-stack. What a great masculine card or sympathy card! And so quick to put together - first I stamped the lighthouse image and then ran it through my Square Lattice embossing folder. I really like the added texture to the main panel. Add a bit o' Crumb Cake seam binding and a sentiment and you're done! Stop by tomorrow for another card and a preview of a special treat coming on Friday. 'Bye for now!

Stamps: Uncharted Territory, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Naturals White, Crumb Cake
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice embossing folder, Crumb Cake seam binding, Wide Oval punch

Little Bunny Buckets

If you are looking for a cute little Easter treat, look no further. The tiny bunnies are just too cute for words!

I case'd these cuties from Mary Fish's blog and added the grass and scallop circle background. I thought these would make fun little favors for the Easter dinner table. I found the buckets at Target a couple of years ago, in the bridal section. I think I've seen something similar at party supply stores. They are quick and easy to make, and a lot of fun to share.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend and I'll see you back here next week. Be sure to stop by - I have some fun surprises in store. See you then!

FTL 135: Sew Fabulous!

I have to admit that this week's Fall-to-Layout was a bit of a challenge for me, but sometimes it's good to work outside your comfort zone. I've wanted to use this Sweet Stitches designer paper for some time, and I thought it would be fun to pair it with the Four Frames set for this card.

I also pulled out my Sweet Buttons embosslit to create my buttons - how fun to be able to create button accents in any color. I really like the way it all works together!

Stamps: Four Frames, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: So Saffron, Whisper White, Sweet Stitches
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Sweet Buttons embosslit, Designer Label punch, medium oval punch, Whisper White satin ribbon, stick pins

Welcome to the World!

It's spring and you know what that means - babies! I don't know if this seems to happen to anyone else, or if it is just me, but there is always new crop of bundles of joy to welcome to the world each spring and this year is no exception. I created this card for one of my friends who just had her 5th little one.

I combined two challenges for this card - Fall to Layout 134 and this week's Clean and Simple challenge on Splitcoast. I love, love, love this card! Just think how fun this would be in different color combinations - so many possibilities! I used my Stars #2 die to create the stars and I was inspired by the colors of these baby bibs in the Clean and Simple challenge. What fun! And that Baker's Twine will be available May 1st in the Summer Mini - Wahoo! I can't wait to play some more with my new stamps from the Summer Mini. Keep an eye out for some more sneak peeks. :)

Stamps: A Word for You
Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Stars #2 die, Mat Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, Cherry Cobbler & White Baker's Twine

Strength & Hope Swap

How about a little sneak peek for you today? This card uses one of the sets from the Summer Mini Catalog, which becomes available May 1st. It is called Strength & Hope, and I'm loving the beautiful images. As an added bonus, when you purchase the Strenght & Hope stamp set (or the digital kit), Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

I made this as a swap for a recent downline meeting. I love the soft colors and soothing tone. A perfect card to share with someone special, just to let them know you care.

Hugs & Kisses for Mom

Here's another card from this month's stamp-a-stack. We couldn't let Mother's Day pass us by, so we made this card, using the Embossed Resist technique.

If you aren't familiar with this technique, Patty Bennett has a wonderful tutorial on her blog. Go check it out! This was new to my customers - isn't it fun to learn a new way to use your stampin' tools? In the original tutorial, Patty uses a frame with an oval opening and for this card I used a frame with a rectangular opening.

Thanks for stopping by today! I know things have been kind of quiet here this week, but I've got some fun stuff in the works. Stay tuned... 'Bye for now!

Stamps: Mother of Mine, Tiny Tags
Paper: Concord Crush, Whisper White
Ink: Concord Crush
Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press embossing folder, wooden frame (for Embossed Resist technique), Whisper White organza ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Jewelry Tag Medium punch

Four Frames Easter Card

Hi there! It's good to be back from our little spring break trip and I'm excited to share a card we made at last weekend's stamp-a-stack. This card uses the sneak peek Four Frames stamp set. This set will appear in the next Idea Book and Catalog, but you can purchase it this month, along with the Paisley Prints designer paper (which I also used on this card). WARNING: This paper is absolutely gorgeous! For more information on how you can get your hands on these goodies, visit my demo web site.

This month's theme was "Spring Fling" and all of our cards focused on springy colors, flowers and butterflies. I really like that little butterfly accent on the frame, made with the Beautiful Wings embosslit. This is a pretty card that works for Easter, but would also work as a sympathy, wedding or even birthday card, just by switching up the greeting.

Have a super day! See you soon!

Stamps: Four Frames, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Paisley Prints dsp
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist
Accessories: Big Shot, Elegant Lines embossing folder, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Decorative Label punch, Basic Pearls, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, Whisper White satin ribbon
